Internet explorer 6 is crashing while recording comboedit using qtp 9.2

Hi, I am Narinder and I developed a regression script using web addin with qtp 9.2. The script worked fine we now got newer version of the application and its functionality is same and no major changes. When running my existing qtp scripts on the newer version of the application, all goes well but on certain objects, browser is crashing.
Thought of recording new script but the browser crashes even when recording at the same object.

Please help.
