Hi all

While testing with QTP i used to test with recording only,is it necessary to understand scripting.

Hi Angel,

if you want to customize your tests e.g. set properties of objects during runtime, it would be necessary to understand and write code. But if you only want to record and replay tests it won't be necessary to understand scripting.

It depends on that what you want to do.

Step Generator Feature Provided by QTP can be used if someone is not much familiar with Scripting.QTP will generate code for you.
