Unable to use browser when I opened QTP 9.2

Hi,
I am learning QTP.

I have installed QTP 9.2 on my mechine(windows XP SP2) having the configuration 2 GB RAM and it was successful.

Here the problem is ....IE browser is not working if I opened QTP .....

Please provide the solution to this ....

Note:I searched in the google for the solution and I found the solution as we need to install the patches and I did not get those patches.

Please provide those patches if you have.

Which version of IE you are using???
Because QTP does not support IE 8 or its later version.
Better use IE 6 & then try.

ya mr. pramod is right.
qtp 9.2 doesn't support the higher version from IE 7 so use the IE 6 or 7.

i am using IE 8....If I degrade the IE version to IE 7 It might be work ...I will do and let you know later..
