'Help' notes in UFT14.0 - soujanya - 05-18-2018
Hi All,
I used to use QTP help from Menu option 'Help' and then QTP help documentation to know the properties, functions, vbscript examples, javascript examples etc., but now unable to find the same help in UFT 14.0. Can somebody please me to find the documentation in 14?

Starting with UFT 14, UFT help files have been moved to online by default.
However, you can still configure the help files so that they can reside on your machine and can be launched using the favorite shortcut F1.
Here are the steps to configure UFT help on your local machine.
- Download UFT 14 Help file
- The download is in the form of a zip file. Extract the contents to <UFT installation folder>/help. Most likely the location would be C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\Unified Functional Testing\help
- In UFT, go to Tools > Options > Help and select Access local Help radio button.

Dear Ankur,
I'm new to UFT 14.03, i have some questions related to TDC:
- Should the parameters correspond to a column header in the global sheet?
- What if my data is divided to two sheets, global and local sheet?
- Should all the parameters have values? what if i need empty ones?
- How to delete a data or entry generated?
Also, since upgrading UFT from 12.51 to 14.03, uft is not recognizing any object without smart identification.
Please advise.
