Not able to record Airline Application (sample) bundled with QTP - Atul - 10-04-2014
I am using HP unified functional testing QTP 12.01 to record the Flight GUI application bundled with QTP. But when i click on Record button it does not record anything
I am using the "Record and run settings" as Tab ->windows applications and mark the option Record and run only on: Application opened by UFT and Application specified below.
Application details as -:
application is flight4a.exe
working folder
C:\Program Files\HP\Unified Functional Testing\samples\flight\app\flight4a.exe
Also tried to mark an first option "Record and run test on any open
windows based application" but it also does nt record anything.
OS -Windows 7 (32 bit)
Kindly provide your suggestions.

Got one solution -> Remove the compatibility mode of the flight GUI application and now QTP records the steps of login screen.
But not able to get values in the flight GUI application and again need to run in compatibility mode. So this solution is not permanent.
Waiting for your good reply..come on QTP folks !!!
