how to run scripts from QC - mrajeshtnl - 01-30-2012
if i have a one test script for 10 test cases, after editing the script, how can i import that to QC? and how to execute the test script from QC?

Please follow the below steps
1.Connect to quality center from QTP by clicking on QC connection button(green colored circular button)
2. Login using QC credentials after selecting the required project and domain
3.Save the script to required location using save as option(click on Quality Center after "save as" to see the QC path so as to save the script to qc testplan)
4.Pull the script to QC test lab
5.click on run button in QC (in test plan module)
Going forward you need not open qtp for running scripts...you may directly go to test plan where the script is available and click on run. QTP will be auto launched with the script selected and auto run.
Note: Please ensure that "Allow to run from other hp products" check box is selected in QTP settings
Tools----->options--->Run---->select the check box "Allow other hp products to run the tests and components"
