QTP doesn't work in Vista OS - Dev - 01-03-2012
Hi There,
I have Vista OS. I have QTP 10 download in my system. Window application runs ok with QTP but Web application doesn't wrok at all. When I click record for WEB APP, no script generate on QTP. I have turn off my UAC from user account and also uncheck from IE 7>tools>Internate option>security.....all uncheck.

Hi Dev,
On Windows Vista, install QuickTest Professional and any QuickTest add-ins as an administrator. To do this, right-click setup.exe from the root folder of the QuickTest Professional installation CD and choose Run as administrator.
Then, every time you open QuickTest, open it as an administrator. To do this, right-click the QuickTest Professional icon on your desktop and choose Run as administrator.
Please check for correct record and run settings as well.
