I have been working on SAP automation using QTP11.0 from past few months. I came across few basic things which i thought of sharing with u guys.

I need your kind assistance in using QTP for testing an ERP software. as our company has an ERP software APPLANE and i need to automate the testing processs.Please help how can i start the process.

Make sure you have the required add-ins.
Start QTP and start recording to see the application behaviour.
