I was wondering if qtp 11 supports recording in windows 7 as I have windows 7 (I will let you know exact version i required) on my office computer and it will not record on windows 7 machine either on IE 8 or 9?

QTP 11 will record on IE8 with windows7 also...You can just playback on IE9..

It needs a patch, search for the suitable patcha and install it.

It requires a patch to work on windowns 7. And its available in markert now.

Hi.
I use QTP 11, i installed all the relevant patches, but when i try to recognize objects in the Windows 7 Explorer, like file names or drives, QTP only recognizes WinObject: DirectUIHWND.
Anyone has any idea how to recognize the objects inside the explorer window?
Everything works fine with IE9.
Btw, should i have made a new thread for this?[/i]
Oh, i'm using Windows 7 32bit
