Browser Hangs while launching a Java Applet - Imran - 06-23-2011

QTP Version: 10.0.0
IE Version Info: 8.0.6001.18702
Problem:
My Application has some web pages and few web pages has Java applet embedded in them. Now we have some links to launch the java applet page from web page. The problem is, when I am launching the java applet manually, page is loading completely and everything is working find, but the same operation I am performing via QTP, although the page that contains the applet is opening but applet is not loading. To test my patience, IE browser is also not responding after that step.
Can someone please help me what to do to load the applet????
Is this because of some Java clash i.e. Clash between the Java addin used by QTP and the java which is used to launch the applet????
