QTP internal controls - vanibandla - 03-15-2011
Hi All
QTP relies on internal control names that can change at developer’s discretion or because of 3rd party control upgrade, which will require script changes.
does we have to manually modify the script and update repository for all the changes or can we avoid this
how we deal with this?

Hi Vanibandla,
Check if html id, html tag and class properties remain constant. If so, use these constant properties for object identification.
