Bitmap checkpoint - tester_rahul - 10-05-2010 I have a question regarding bitmap checkpoint If i use bitmap checkpoint for an image while recording and i change the resolution should the bitmap checkpoint pass or fail during run. RE: Bitmap checkpoint - A.Saini - 10-06-2010 Hi Rahul, Bitmap checkpoint is the most sensitive among all checkpoints supported by QTP. If you change the resolution, the result of bitmap checkpoint depend on the two things: 1) The QTP version you are using [advance version support for bigger range ] 2) How much change you made in resolution. [More resolution change means more probability of failure] RE: Bitmap checkpoint - tester_rahul - 10-08-2010 I am not clear as to why this should happen. Basically the idea of bitmap checkpoint is not clear to me. RE: Bitmap checkpoint - A.Saini - 10-08-2010 Hi Rahul, If you really want to have good knowledge about bitmap check point you may refer QTP Help. You will find enough details over there.
