Hi, I'm new in qtp.
I have questions regarding the object repository.
If I add object to my shared object repository and I change the object name accordingly then i start recording. Should the objects' item be "auto detected". What I mean is will the item name be the same as the one I named in my shared object repository? Hope someone understand what I 'm trying to ask.

If the object property(See description properties list appears right side in OR) matches then it should take that renamed object. It will add new, only when the property value changes.
