Automating Maps - PrachiS - 06-08-2010
My application uses Maps of ActiveX component(MapInfo MapX), and I am unable to record-playback or capture any movement on these maps. Can someone help me out with this.

This probably is a GUI test..Is there any functionality involved on the maps or is it just Bitmaps ?
Lowlevel recording should help to an extent but IMO this is not a good candidate for automation.
Others who have worked on similar environment should be able to throw in more and help you out.
