Hi,
How do I take a screenshot of a particular window
when the system gets locked.I dont have admin rights to change the system settings.
Please advise

I do not understand your question completely. QTP does not run with System Locked. If you want to take a screenshot of the window you can use CaptureBitmap method or external tools like CaptureAPI..Google it and you will know how to use it.
