RE: QTP9.1 is not recording Oracle-Apps(11i) on Vista-SP1 - Saket - 08-05-2009 Does your orcale forms are loading using Java/JInit? I am asking this as I think Oracle add in 8.2 does not supports Java 6 or higher. If it is not the case then make sure you have not installed Java 6 or higher. If you need Java then do a install of Java 5 and try, this should work. RE: QTP9.1 is not recording Oracle-Apps(11i) on Vista-SP1 - natra1 - 08-06-2009 Hi Saket, Thanks for your reply..However to test Oracle applications, Java addin is not essential. Please find the below from QTP professional help.. <"You use the Add-in Manager to load support for testing Oracle applications. Note: For optimal performance when testing Oracle applications, it is strongly recommended that you work with only the Oracle Add-in and Web Add-in loaded"> RE: QTP9.1 is not recording Oracle-Apps(11i) on Vista-SP1 - Saket - 08-06-2009 Hi Natra, what I have specified is not Java Add in, AS per my knowledge I think Oracle forms are using either Jinitiater or Java to load. so if you Orcale forms are using Java to load and you hav java 6 installed then it will cause an issue. Sorry for any confusion. |
