How to connect to Linux m/c from QTP script for validatating the new created dir - rao - 07-23-2009
Hi All,
I am using QTP 9.5 . My application is a web application, in one of scenario my application creates a directory in target Linux machine thorogh bash script(application does it by itself), So now i want to check
that directory on linux m/c is created successfully throgh QTP script. can somebody help me out in how to connect to linux m/c from QTP script and validate that created directory. Any suggesstions are much appreciated. Thanks

The linux box cannot be connected from a windows m/c. The only way for file transfer between windows and linux is FTP.
Since QTP works only on windows machines, I feel your requirement cant be validated.
If the linux box is an FTP server, there may be possibilities to check the folder creation.
