you cannot achive any security with QTP.But of course you can test a security feature of an application.
i could try if you could share the details of what kind of feature you are trying to test

OK. We can test security features of web application, means we need to create positive/negative scenarios which will test that feature.
e.g. Session expiration. After user logged in application, if user is inactive for certain time, then that session gets over.
How can we catch its session ID in QTP.
