Automation of Mobile Application testing using QTP - sreddy - 11-25-2008
Hi..
I am new to QTP. I learn the basics of QTP by using the trial version. I have experience in Mobile applications - manual testing but no automation experience. Any body has any idea how to automate mobile applications using QTP and any tips and tricks that can help me. I really appreciate your help!

As far as I know QTP does not have any built in Add-In for Mobile applications, So you have to use third party add-ins to identify the objects of mobile applications. As mobile application/software has its own OS, those object will not be identified by QTP.
Few months ago I have automated some of the mobile and emulator applications by using third party add-in named "M-eux" of Jamos solutions. For more information visit their site.
