RE: Not able to select controls using Object Spy - RGummadidala - 10-27-2010 Hi Vinod, The version of IE I'm using is 8.0. Assuming that this has to do with browser, how can I select Google Chrome or FireFox for testing. Currently I do not see any option to select any other user agent apart from IE. RE: Not able to select controls using Object Spy - PeterPiper - 05-08-2011 I sympathize with your problem. I have had the same issue for two days now. Many people have reported a similar issue and HP has not addressed it in their documentation. I believe this reveals a serious shortcoming on the part of HP software. When you are doing the VERY FIRST ITEM in the tutorial, it should work, according to the directions, right? This does not give me a lot of confidence in HP's own testing and documentation process. Nevertheless, this should hopefully solve your problem: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Operating-systems-and/QTP-11-Tutorial-Object-Spy-not-recognizing-object/td-p/415137 |
