using datatable paranthesis

Hi, I am using QTP10
i got problem insertion the values into datatable like this code

Code:

datatable("username",dtglobalsheet)
datatable("password",dtlocalsheet)

and the error code is
cannot use paranthesis before sub like
plz solve my doubt
