script is not generating

i was working in QTP ver 10. After the trial period i have uninstalled it and downoaded QTP ver 9.2.
when i record an web appication the script is generating
but when i open awindows appication script is not generating

It will not record the web based objects if it is a Windows-Vista u have to follow as like this

Uncheck the check box for UAC in vista user account control
then u would be able to record the web pages

Do you have the Activex and Visual Basic addins associated ?

Can you open flight reservation and see if you can perform record/playback ?
