Hi Reshma,
There is an option called "Existing Checkpoint" under Insert-->Checkpoint. You can call any existing checkpoint at any given step using this option.
Steps to reuse a checkpoint
1. Make sure that you have recorded the checkpoint you want to reuse earlier and that is there in the repository.
2. At the step you want to reuse the checkpoint, click through Insert--> Checkpoint --> Existing Checkpoint.
3. A new window comes up (Add Existing Checkpoint). On the rightmost side of the window, you will get to see Test Objects hierarchy. Click on the exact Object on which you have recorded the checkpoint.
4. All the checkpoints related to that object will be shown up in the Checkpoints Dropdown. Select the appropriate checkpoint from the drop down and click on "OK" button.
You are done now. You will get to see that the checkpoint has been invoked on the step.
If you find any problem doing so then let me know.....
