problem with copy functionality

Hi,
I am trying to cop and paste a piece of code.
selected the code and right click , selected copy
went to the location i want to paste its not pasting.
i tried keyboard commands too, ctrl+c and ctrl+v
any other ways.
any help will be really appreciated.

may be your script is open in read only mode.
please specify from where you copy and where do you paste, in the same script or ?
