1)Will UFT support automated testing for oracle ADF applications?
2)My testers have choose standard web environment for automation and are asking for some unique HTML_id and HTML_name whereas we do not provide any of these properties for ADF application.The only property which corresponds to this ADf application is id where we define in our code an id to a component where in runtime it is identifed by QTP with its parents and child id's.
For example if i create a component in ADF with id "abcd".The HP object spy identifies as p1.abcd.f1?
testers are asking for something unique name like only " abcd" on object whereas it is impossible to define in ADF bcoz this is something happening on runtime
3)We do have an oracle add-in.But the testers are aware of it and doing automation for an Oracle ADF application using standard web environment.So is this a good approach?
