is webservice add in is different from web add in in qtp?

I have been assigened task to do webservice testing, for this i wanted to know webservice add-in and web add in are same in qtp or different, if differnet, is there any way to do webservice testing without having webservice add in in qtp.

Web Services Add-In is different from Web-AddIn.
I dont think you can use QTP for webservices testing without WebServices AddIn
