Windows7 compatability with QTP
#1
Not Solved
Hi ALL,

Is there any one using QTP on a windows7?. I have a strange problem execeuting it.

Though I have installed the patch which HP has released recently which helps to work on windows7. My QTP doesnt recognize objects in a web based application. Seems to work fine for a windows based application.

Please provide some help on this.

Thanks
Swetha

One of the following may help, if not wait for others to respond, if not call HP
1)When installing QTP did all the modules got registered?
2)uncheck UAC in user accounts and restart your PC(Note: do this at your own risk. I am not responsible)
3)reset IE
4)In IE > internet tools > disable tabbed browsing
5)In IE ? intertnet tools > security >disable enable protected mode(Note: do this at your own risk. I dont recommend and I am not responsible.)
6)Try it on firefox.exe
7)do a fresh install of QTP 10 and try
8)call HP support or open a thread in HP QTP forum.
