Hi Ankur and All,
I am just getting started on testing webservices. It's definately imp. to state that i have not done a lot in QTP just basic stuff.
I am looking for some guidance/ what all areas to cover while testing web services and some basic guideline.Please help me.

Areas to cover depends upon your requirements document or expectations set with client.
If you have any specific problem regarding web services with QTP, feel free to ask.

Ankur...thanks a lot for taking time to go thru my query.
I am trying to figure out what are basic things to keep in mind while doing the testing.I am able to load WSDL and add parameters and and also load the XML into variable to get the value from a particular Node to send it to another web service. I know i am writng a whole novel..Sorry.
Let me know what i need to test Security in WebServices.
