Use Of Recovery Scenarios

Hi..
I know How to use the Recovery Scenarios...
But i have a small confussion..
if we know in advance what type of pop-up window will come in the future..
then we take recovery scenario for this pop-up window..

if u know in advance which pop-up window will come..
then simply we add that pop-up window objects to object repository..
and use when we need.. then

what is the real use & when we really use Recovery Scenarios...
plz help i am really confused..
