I recorded my test in IE and it has a few text checkpoints. When I ran the test in Chrome they all failed and the report would say something like Text Checkpoint: captured "" between Email and First Name , expected "test100@test.com" while test100@test.com is right between Email and First Name on the webpage.
This sometimes happens to FireFox as well but this set of text checkpoints works for FireFox so whether text checkpoints will succeed or fail in FireFox/Chrome has been a gamble and remained a mystery to me. Help??? =/
My QTP version's 11 with patch 88 and 102 and Chrome version is 19.
