I downloaded QTP 11.0 and Terminal Emulator version 8.0 (free download from HP download center). The TE configuration Wizard in free version does not show me the place to set up Hllapi.dll. I don't see the list of 'Welcome, Wizard Operation, Emulator Setup, HLLAPI, Emulator properties and Finish' on the left hand side menu. After selecting the Vendor and Emulator name , it takes me to the screen settings screen and then the final screen.
When I start my QTP and check the 'Terminal Emulator' option, it gives me an error message saying 'QuickTest Terminal Emulator support is not configured correctly. Either the terminal emulator is not installed on your computer or the HLLAPI DLL was not found.'
I do have ehlapi32.dll installed in my system.
Also if I select Tools-->Options --> Terminal Emulator-->Open Wizard, it completely freezes the screen. I am not able to do anything other than the restart of the computer.
