SystemUtil.Run stmt?

should the SystemUtil.run stmt be automatically generated when i record a test????

because it is not happening to me.

i am manually inserting the stmt.

suppose if i want to launch calculator application, then what would be the path?
i found the path to be like %system root%system32\calc.exe

but it is not working

Hi Rajesh,

Try in the below given way.

Open QTP > Tools > Options > Windows Applications > click 'Advanced' button > In Advanced Windows Application window, scroll down to "Utility Objects" and Select "Record SystemUtil.Run Commands" checkbox > OK.

Now try to record once again.

Hope it would solve your problem.
