Spaces and special characters in datatable headings

I have inherited a QTP test that has white spaces and special characters in data table headings.

I am trying to add a new column to the test, but cannot seem to add a new column with white spaces. The person that wrote the test obviously found a workaround for this, but they no longer work for the company.

Anyone know how they did this?

Hi,

I'm not sure about your query but try to use "_" in datatable heading instead of spaces and special character.

I just opened the excel spreadsheet under the test folder and I could add a table heading with special characters and spaces.

Needed this in order to extend the test. Would have been a nightmare to re-write the test
