Query for configuration of Mail Body section through VB/QTP

Greetings to all..

Please guide me how to configure the mail body section with some image/HTML of Result summary which has stored as external Xls..

1. I have created the function to summerize the PASS/FAIL status
2. The Function will create the runtime DT and export the status with counts and percentage to external sheet.

Now i have a result summary which has stored in external xls.
I need to capture only those values from external xls or at the run time and placed in mail body section.

please guide me how to configure or if new approach to place the Result summarized value in mail body section
