Quality Centre installation problem on Virtual Machine - Win2003
#1
Not Solved
Hi Ankur ,
I have Sony Vaio Latop with Windows Vista on it I have installed
Vmware workstation on it and created a Win2003 server virtual machine
on it. I have installed SQLServer 2000 on it . I have checked I am able to connect to it through sa login. When I am installing Quality centre 9.2 on the virtual machine it throws me an error saying

[Mercury][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Error establishing socket to host a1nd port: 192.168.160.146:1433. Reason: Connection refused: connect

I am using SQLserver authentication mode for QC 9.2 . I have also tried with windows authentication mode but the same error pops up.

When I try to do telnet machinename 1433 it gives me an error saying port not found. Please reply to this
