We have installed QTP v10 in a system which has windows server 2003 R2 standard 64 Bit edition service pack 2.
While executing the script (on web application) if screen is minimized ,locked or disconnected QTP is unable to recognize the Dialog window.It does not have any problem identifying the browser objects in the above said conditions.
It is able to identify the dialog window when the screen is visible and performing the action as expected.
The same script is working fine in the machine which has Windows XP professional 2002 SP3 even the screen is minimized or locked.
One more issue we are facing with windows server 2003. We have a code to check the mail in Microsoft Outlook,when the code approach the Outlook Inbox it throws a Pop up saying "Allow or Deny the access to Microsoft Outlook". To handle this Pop up we have installed a "ClickYes" program in our machine. When ever this Pop up comes ClickYes would handle this Pop up.Now the problem is same as above,whenever the screen is minimized or locked ClickYes has an issue handling the Pop up.
The same program works fine in Window XP even the screen is minimized or locked.
I would like to know, Is QTP V10 is compatible with windows server 2003? If answer is yes ,Is there any way to handle the above said issues?
