Thanks, but i want the fix in QTP 9.1 itself. Please help me out fokes..
As the additional Information: The error was related to OLE32.dll - probably QTP had some compatability issues with the browser.
Is QTP 9.1 compatible with IE 8.0(Beta)? If yes, then how?
If no, do i need a separate Add-In for that or do I need to upgrade to a higher version of QTP?
Waiting for the replies

I am have had numerous problems with IE 8 crashing - even when QTP isn't running. I have had too many problems with IE crashing while running QTP, strangely enough. We are using QTP 10 with the following patches installed:
QTP_00626
QTP_00667
My experience with IE 8 is that it is buggy, crash-prone, and SLOW, so I don't think it is QTP's fault. As people have said, you might have better luck with QTP 10.0.

I donno if this works for you.. but try running IE 8 in compatibility mode. But when you trying Explorer 8 and above versions its better to use QTP 10.0
