Hi Ankur,
Is there any way i can find the path where QTP is installed in the machine? I want the ouput as:"C:\Program Files\Mercury Interactive\QuickTest Professional" 
Yes, you can use the ProductDir built in environment variable to get the folder path where QTP is installed.
