QTP has encountered a problem and needs to close

Hi all,

Till yesterday, QTP in my system worked fine. But suddenly when i tried opening an existing test, it says QTP has encountered a problem and needs to close. It closes QTP, i tried installing QTP once again, but problem continues...........

please help me, thanks in advance.

Im using QTP10.0 version, and operating system is windows xp with SP2.someone please suggest........

This usually happens when there is too much of load on QTP.

Kalyani,

I am not too sure about the possible solution of this. For me there were 4 people accessing QTP which was causing it to crash(not sure abt the reason). We restrated the system nxt day and the problem was gone.

I would suggest you to raise a ticket with HP. They might help you.
