QTP doesn't run what was recorded

I hope someone can help. I have recorded a test using QTP v10.0 under Windows 7. The test was recorded on a reflections screen. I have the TE emulator set for Attachmate, WRQ - Reflections, but actually running on Reflection stardard suite 2008. Now, my problem is that anytime during the running of the test, some characters will get dropped. Example: QTP recorded 'type micReturn' for the return key, or 'type "reel_production"' and "reel_production" should appear on the terminal screen. Sometimes it does and sometime "rel_production" or "reel_prouction" will appear. It just drops characters. Oh, and my reflection screen is connected using "telnet". Has anyone seen this? or have any advise?
