QTP can not recognize "Slider Control"

QTP can not recognize "Slider Control"

Hi, I am using QTP for testing an application which contains a slider control. But QTP can not recognize it through Object Repository.
It identifies it as a WinObject. Is there any other way to identify it as a standard object so that I can control it through coding. Plz HELP ME.
Please let know if u already have found out the answer...
