QTP & RUMBA 7.2

I have configured QTP with RUMBA 7.2 by following all the instructions & steps mentioned in the QTP TE Add-In installation guide as well as the Terminal Emulator Wizard.

However, when I record the test the QTP identifies the screen as TeTextSCreen and NOT as TeScreen(there by identifying the TeField) which it ideally should because RUMBA 7.2 is supported by QTP.

Hi, i have worked with Rumba and QTP.
Usually QTP recognises as TeScreen, did you run the recorded script, is it saying that object can't be identified?
Try opening QTP first and then the Rumba screen.

I tried your suggestion to open the QTP first & then the RUMBA screen but it's still recording it as TeTextScreen ONLY.

Do you remember the Terminal Type (VT100,WYSE50 etc.) setting that you had used for your RUMBA session?
