QTP Hangs after "creating results" and crashes an application

Hello,

We are using QTP10 and have two major problems at hand.

1. After running a script, one of the machines freezes while "creating results." We cannot get past this issue, or run any scripts at this time.

2. On three other machines, the application we are testing crashes while batches run.

If anyone has any recommendations or solutions to these problems, they would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest you to check for any memory leakage in your script while running tests. I don't see much details above but from previous experience can say either your script is not destroying object created at run time or probably you are opening files through the script but not closing them properly. [I assume your machines have enough RAM to run QTP and your application simultaneously]

Since you are using QTP 10, you can make use of the new internal feature of 10.0 that allows you to check system resources from inside.
