When I clic OK the following message is show:

Which Version of QTP are you using ?? Normally this comes up when QTP is abruptly stopped.
Try this,
go to C:\Program Files\HP\QuickTest Professional\bin and look for quicktestproffessional.bat
Double click and execute it. Restart the machine and then try to open QTP.
Let me know if that helped !

Stop Looking. You wont find it. It was there till 9.5 & I am unsure why HP removed it out.
did you upgrade QTP ?? or installed 10.0 directly ?
do you have admin rights on the machine you access ?
Is this the first time you are seeing the error ? or it worked before fine ?

Do you have a desktop Shortcut for QTP ?
Did you rename it ?
Can you go to C:\Program Files\HP\QuickTest Professional\bin and double click on QTPro.exe and see if you get the error ?

Okay...I believe i am not able to move ahead with a repair. Lets try to uninstall and re-install it back.
1. Uninstall QTP 10.0 from Add/REmove programs.
2. Go To
http://knowledgeinbox.com/downloads/ and download a tool called QTP Clean Uninstaller v2.10. This will help you to clear any unwanted registry values set.
Give it a try and may hope be with us mate.
3.
