QTP & DOS window

I running a Script that using a Dos type command window to update a DB2 database and at the moment I have a wait statement to control when to carry on after the Database is updated.

Is there anyway to scan the Dos Session window for a string to confirm the update is completed?

i faced same problem with you Jackomcnabb, but if you just want to confirm for update is complete
you can try using a bitmap checkpoint.
