QTP 9.5 Object Repository merge tool not merging the Check Point objects,

“Secondary File.tsr” always Overwrite “Primary File.tsr” Check Point objects

It will overwrite only CHECKPOINT OBJECTS not other objects

Merge tool successfully merge All other Objects but merge tool Secondary file over write primary file CHECKPOINT OBJECTS ONLY

Example:-

Local Object Repository_ Primary Object File.tsr

Local Object Repository_ SecondaryObjectFile.tsr

Using merge tool when merge two Object repositories, the secondary object repository overwrite existing object repository CHECKPOINT OBJECTS ONLY
Remaining all objects successfully merged and updated.

Same thing either Local or Shared Object repository always Secondary File Checkpoint objects only appears in the new merged object repository.

When you compare Two Object repositories, Checkpoints will not appears in Comparison tools also!

QTP 9.5 Consider Checkpoints as A Object when it displays in Object repository why the Checkpoints do not appear in Object Comparison tools
