QTP 9.0 not recording events happening in the flash web applicaiton

HI,
i have tested my flash application with QTP 9.0.My project is web application and i have started recording the.

it was opened the page in that page there was the flash application. after sometime i stopped the recording and pressed the play button for running the recorded scripts. it just loaded the application and not continued the process, just stopped in the position of file open. i checked with the recorded scripts,in that script,it was the position of mouse only not other details.
i am totally new to QTP.
is this the way of recording the scripts,if it so how the functionalities to be recordered.i have checked the flash support for qtp.it wsa full for flex 2.0 application details.
anyone please help me
