I have Downloaded QTP 11 Evaluation iso
While installation it is giving error file missing qt_exec.cfg. Also when I checked the respective dat folder I couldn't find the file there ??? checked on internet but still unable to find the file ...
Can anyone help me with this .....

Hi,
I am also facing some problem while installing QTP 11.0 version that qt_exec.cfg is missing. Could you please share the file again as it shows it is used by maximum number of users and could not download.

Hi
I am new to the forum... while installing the qtp 11 demo version, for accessing the seat license... what is order number????
its asking repeatedly for order number... to send the license key ....
any help would be apprecialted.

I am also downloaded QTP 11 iso. Can you please help me how to down load this..when i try to download this it's asking to Burn the CD...I did burn to new CD. But, that one also asking same thing..can you please give me the steps..

U need to Install some s/w like WinRar to extract .iso files..
Then u can install u r QTP..

Hi All,
I am new to this forum and also to QTP. I was trying to install QTP 11 and encountered so many problems. I googled and many forums helped me.
I successfully installed QTP 11 now. Thanks to all.
My system is Windows xp, service pack 3
internet explorer 8
RAm -2 GB
Steps I did as follows.
1. Go to HP website. Download the iso file. It takes long hours. Be patient. I am not sure ,but I disabled Mcafee while downloading also.
2. Extract the iso file using winrar (free software)and saved in a folder.
3. before installing check readme file.
4. Disable the Mcafee or any other virus protection in ur computer. (if u didnt disable mcafee, u will get the error msg that file
qt_exec.cfg is missing.
5. install it. select for the IE configuration checking. Don't check the
licence , if u dont need it...
6. Once u installed when u try to record, u may get IE crash. I disabled all the addins like google bar, Mcafee search , bing etc.. It works fine now..
I have one problem left. I selected to close the browser after the test, but it is not closing automatically. I need to do manually before running the application.
