QTP 10 , vista

Hi,
I just started learning QTP by downloading 10 trial version. I am not able to record a test. It gives me an error message"The Browser application>> > can't be launched.Possibly the URL is wrong" on qtp, but actually it opens the ie with that url.
After i search this forum, i disabled tabing, still getting the sa me error message. Highly appriciate your help.

what exactly the error message you are getting and what is the script that is generated while recording?

Can you please provide some more details on this.

Hi Srikanth,
Yes i followed the instructions that were given in this forum (disable tabing from IE 7 , removed user access controll (UAC) from my user account. Still i have the same problem. I am going to reinstall QTP ,can you suggest something elase other than this?
