Our application uses the below given technology:
.net framework 3.5,c# 3.0,sql 2005,javascript,xml,css style sheets,Ajax,
componenet art (third party tool)
Menu is built componenet art (third party tool)
I am facing 2 issues:
1. QTP is identifying menu and submenu (which is constucted using component art -third party tool) as webelement but later when i run its not clicking particular menu and submenu
2. We use lookups (binacular) to select details > here when we click on lookup a window will popup which will list (table) a set of values in a table> to select we have to click on required value
: Here when i record to check how objects are read > QTP is not entering any step for this action
I asked QTP HP support : as per them QTP will not support component art it seems and in our application Grids are constucted using component art
Please help me out in this case. Need solution or any alternate solution as i a struck at this particular point
